The southbound "Algoa" passenger from Johannesburg to Port Elizabeth passing through the loop at Dover to overtake a southbound 39-wagon coal train. Class 16E units E428A + E428B in original Spoornet orange livery, with blue & white stripes, are in charge of the passenger. The coal train is diesel hauled by 3 x GE class 34's (U20C), each in a different colour scheme, 34-120 in orginal SAR red, 34-492 in Spoornet orange and 34-417 in the newer Spoornet blue. |

The 14-coach train is in the livery of Shosholoza Meyl, the pasenger operating arm of Spoornet. The semaphore signals in the left background are still operational. |
